Our understanding as Honda is that if we work in the area of education in CSR, we are educating the society. In order to achieve this dream, technology-based education through smart classrooms, digital labs, computer labs are being conducted in 3 Government schools of UP & Rajasthan. Beside traditional role-based model of education; interactive, fun, innovative and easily comprehensible teaching methods have been introduced. In addition to smart learning and digital learning for children, special emphasis has been given to computer classes, sports, extra-curricular activities, value education & promoting their leadership skills. During Covid times, continuity of education was ensured through blended mode teaching learning model like Cluster Class, Worksheet Distribution, classes through Zoom and other online platforms
For teachers, capability building is being done through Interactive and experiential learning & Smart Classroom aided learning has been already introduced with specialized programs for skill enhancement and new teaching methodologies. Around 1400 underprivileged Government school students & 50 Government school teachers across Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan are benefitting from this initiative.
With better infrastructure, upgraded teaching methods and amenities, it is expected that the schools will bring about behavioral change, improve learning outcomes and strengthen the employability of students to drive long term positive societal impact.
