HIF has adopted three government schools in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Budhibawal & Tapukara in Rajasthan. In order to improve the quality of education in these schools, various interventions have been introduced in these schools besides traditional models of education like interactive, innovative, and easily comprehensible teaching methods along with dedicated programs to upskill teachers. Over 1900 students received quality education in these schools this year. The adopted schools have been equipped with Smart Classrooms and Digital labs to provide engaging learning to students.
New age concept-based programs such as STEM (Science, Technology & Math’s Lab) programs are also a part of the curriculum to strengthen learning for subjects like Mathematics and Science. Besides academics, career counselling sessions are held with students to discuss the available career options. The project aims that better infrastructure of government schools, upgraded teaching methods and behavioral change, will lead to improved learning to drive long term positive societal impact. Honda India Foundation received the prestigious Bhamashah- Shiksha Vibhushan award (Highest education award by State Govt.) presented by Honorable Education Minister of Rajasthan, Dr. B D Kalla for Honda's contribution towards promotion of education in adopted Schools in Tapukara & Budhibawal, Rajasthan.
