Honda in collaboration with state government, has initiated construction of Institute of Driving Training & Research (IDTR) at Karnal to provide practical training to drivers regarding sound driving habits and to impart adequate information on traffic rules. Honda’s goal is to facilitate a state-of-the-art institute under the aegis of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Transport Department, Haryana Honda’s objective is to impart practical training, build awareness on sound traffic sense and good driving habits to not only the drivers but also to the pedestrians and other road users. We also aim to assist, advice and support the Government of Haryana for any activities or assignments which contribute towards the road safety. This project not only contributes towards making the Indian roads safer but also provides a self-sustainable model.
Honda India Foundation has collaborated with GNIDA (Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority) to make roads safer by filling gaps in road infrastructure.
