Honda India Foundation (HIF) executed its maiden program in January 2020 on road safety awareness campaigns and environment sustainability activities such as tree plantation drives at Government schools in Gurugram. Under the road safety awareness program, trainings were conducted on road safety rules, traffic signs, road action figures, road safety act, road safety riding gears to use and road safety postures. Along with these activities, road safety pamphlets were also distributed. Under tree plantation drive, students planted 100 saplings in a Government School ground in Gurugram to create awareness on the importance of environment conservation.
Honda India Foundation has collaborated with GNIDA (Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority) to make roads safer by filling gaps in road infrastructure.
